Renewable and non-renewable sources of energy:

Non-renewable sources of energy: The sources of energy which takes thousands of years to recreate are known as non-renewable sources of energy.

Oil, Natural gas, nuclear fuel, coal etc are the examples of such types of sources.

Renewable sources of energy: The sources of energy which can be replenished in a short period of time are known are known as renewable sources of energy.

Solar energy, biomass energy, tidal energy, wind energy, hydro power are the examples of such type of sources.
